How to read a pre-construction plan
A floor plan is a sales document as well as a technical one. These are the things worth looking at before the finishes catch your eye.
- Where the stairs land on each floor, because that dictates how the space actually flows
- Which walls carry structure, since those are the ones you cannot move later
- Window placement relative to lot orientation, which drives light and heating load
- Whether furniture shown is to scale, and what the room reads like without it
- Ceiling heights by floor, which are often not uniform
- What is marked as optional, because optional means an additional cost
Pricing
We do not publish prices on this site. Pricing on pre-construction homes is set by each builder, changes between releases, and varies by lot and elevation, so a figure published here would be out of date and potentially misleading. Request current information and you will get what applies on the day.
